About American Air Systems

American Air Systems, Inc. was started in 1996 by Ron Burson who learned the business from his dad. Ron gained experience working in both residential and commercial HVAC before starting American Air Systems. American Air Systems has always been a mom and pop operation with 2 to 3 service trucks. Because of this, personal service and reasonable prices have remained paramount. Ron retired from American Air Systems in 2013 leaving the company to his son Steven however customers still always ask about Ron.

HVAC FAQs

How often should I be servicing my HVAC equipment?
Units should be cleaned and inspected at the start of the heating and cooling season at a minimum. Ideally, you should have your unit checked twice per year.
How much is a service call?
We charge $80/hr for labor. All equipment charges will be discussed with the customer in advance.
What can I do to troubleshoot AC troubles at home?
Check the batteries in your thermostat. Check to see if your fan is blowing on the outside unit. Can you see ice on the refrigerant lines? If so, turn off the unit, and set the fan to on until your technician arrives. This will save you time because your unit will already be defrosted.
